Phoenix Healthcare Group is the largest private hospital group in China. All of our in-network healthcare institutions, comprising large-scale general hospitals and community clinics, are located in Beijing. We own the majority equity interest in Jian Gong Hospital and manage the following hospitals under the IOT (“invest-operate-transfer”) model: Yan Hua Hospital, Mentougou Hospital, Jing Mei Hospital and Mentougou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital as well as seven Grade I hospitals and 28 community clinics. They altogether provide a full sprectum of general healthcare services from community healthcare services, preventive care to acute care. As of June 30, 2013, we had a total of 3,213 beds in operation.
As an early entrant to China’s public hospital reform, we have accumulated extensive experience in public hospital reform and management skills. Among our in-network hospitals, Jian Gong Hospital was the first privatization of SOE-owned hospital in Beijing. Yan Hau Hospital was the first Grade III general hospital undertaken reform in Beijing. Mentougou Hospital was the first government-owned hospital in Beijing to outsource its management to us through a public-private partnership.
